TackleVault is a fishing lure inventory app for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the app. The short version: it isn't. TackleVault has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Your data never leaves your device.
TackleVault does not collect any personal information. The app does not require you to create an account or provide any identifying information to use it.
All data you enter into TackleVault — including lure details, photos, quantities, and storage locations — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted to any external server or third party.
TackleVault requests access to your device's camera solely to scan barcodes and optionally capture photos of your lures. Camera data is processed entirely on-device and is never stored or transmitted beyond what you explicitly save to your inventory.
If you choose to attach a photo to a lure from your photo library, that image is saved locally within the app. TackleVault does not access, scan, or transmit any other photos from your library.
TackleVault does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or tracking tools. No usage data is collected or reported.
TackleVault does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers.
TackleVault does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because the app collects no data at all, it poses no privacy risk to users of any age.
If this Privacy Policy is updated in the future, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
